I honestly had no idea that I wanted to be a hairdresser. I wasn’t much into hair until my senior year of high school. I remember doing my own hair for prom because I never liked the way it had been done in the past for special events. It wasn’t until my first semester of college that I was sitting in a class one day and an ad came up on the computer for cosmetology schools. I glanced at it and something just told me that I need to go to Cosmetology school. So I went home that night and told my mom I wanted to go to cosmetology school. She probably though it was another one of my I want to be this one day that the next day pitches, but I was serious about going. So, I finished that semester of college and started cosmetology school the following semester.
My favorite aspect of being a stylist is that I get to make people feel beautiful for a living!
I honestly love all aspects of coloring but some of my favorites are my blondes. I love making people blonde.. maybe it’s because I am blonde so I know how important it is to get just the right tone and shade of blonde for each persons skin tone. I also really enjoy doing ombré on my clients that want something with a less maintenance grow out.
